Fourth grader, Aila Fischer, was awarded a certificate as a runner up in Storyworks Magazine’s “Create a Character” contest.  Her entry was handpicked by editors from over 6,000 entries.  Storyworks is published nationally by Scholastic, Inc. and is geared towards grades 3 through 6.  Since first grade, Aila has shown an enthusiasm for creative writing.  She is truly blossoming into an amazing young writer and we are very proud of her!  Way to go, Aila!
